Ismaع describes what the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission has been doing throughout 2003 – ‘listening’ to Arab and Muslim Australians and their experiences of discrimination and abuse in recent times, as well as strategies to counter anti-Arab and anti-Muslim prejudice.To coincide with the launch of the Ismaع Report, the Commission has prepared an audio report which describes the Ismaع project and shares some of the experiences and ideas that people raised throughout during the consultations.
