Department of Education, Employment and Training
The Department's submission was tabled at the Inquiry's Melbourne hearing on Friday 12 November. It provides demographic data relating to Victorian schools and students (section 3). It details staffing and funding issues including support for students with disabilities and for teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) (section 4). It describes the provision of distance education and learning technologies in Victoria (sections 6 and 7). Current projects, including Koorie 2000, are summarised (section 8).
