This report was written jointly by Peter Noble, Legal Projects
Officer at the Fitzroy Legal Service, a Victorian community legal centre,
and Gabrielle Marchetti, Solicitor at Job Watch Inc. Its purpose is to
stimulate informed debate on issues relating to criminal records and
the law, and to encourage the development and implementation of a range
of reforms to mitigate against discrimination on the basis of a criminal
record.
