The Commission has produced the following human rights education resources/activities for teachers which are suitable for use in Design and Technology.
The Commission’s ‘rightsED’ resources/activities which fit under this key learning areas include:
- Commemorate Human Rights Day*
- Face the Facts (Activity 3)
- Tackling sexual harassment (when topic relevant to gender issues)
- Disability rights - What about Doug’s rights? (when topic relevant to disability and accessibility)
- Young people in the workplace (when topic relevant to impact of family and culture)
