Subject: captioning services
I wish to protest against the proposed reduction/deferment in captioning on TV.

Since I have obtained a Teletex TV, I now enjoy the teletex programs and I am better kept informed about world affairs.

Not all deaf people are on large incomes.

It is difficult to keep up with the rising costs in obtaining equipment which is beneficial to Deaf people.

We are an Aging population & I can see an increased need for captioning now &  in the near future as people are going deaf with age & are/will experince the problems associated with this severe/frustrating disability.

We need more rather than reduced captioning services.
