| Complaint Summary | Complainant says respondent State school curriculum organisation has conditions on language courses in terms of whether they are taken as a `advanced first' or `second'language course that discriminates against her children. Complainant's children are of Chinese background and respondent's past requirement is that Chinese as a second language excludes any student born in a Chinese speaking country and who has had more than six months education in a Chinese speaking country - otherwise they have to enrol in advanced Chinese course. Complainant says now excludes any student born in a Chinese speaking country and with no education period considered. |
