2008 Human Rights Medals and Awards nominations closing date extended to 10 Oct
Due to very strong demand, the nominations closing date for the 2008 Human Rights Medals and Awards has been extended to COB Friday, 10 October.
This is your last week to get those late entries in as there will be no further extensions.
Nominations are being accepted for the Human Rights Medal, Young People’s Human Rights Medal, and Human Rights Awards categories of: Community (Individual), Community (Organisation), Law (sponsored by the Law Council of Australia), Literature (Non-fiction), Print Media, Television and Radio.

Winners will be presented with their Medals and Awards at a gala luncheon ceremony to be held on Human Rights Day, 10 December 2008, in Sydney. Tickets are $65 or $40 concession and include a two-course luncheon, drinks and entertainment. For information call
